Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 3 June 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) sets out the rules for using Invoicing Zone. It is part of our Terms of Service — by using the Service you agree to follow this AUP. We may update it from time to time; changes apply prospectively.

1. Use the Service for genuine invoicing

Invoicing Zone is for issuing invoices and related documents for goods and services you have actually supplied or are committed to supplying. You must not use the Service to create or send invoices that are misleading, fictitious, fraudulent, or designed to circumvent tax, VAT, or accounting rules.

2. Do not use the Service for unlawful or harmful activity

You must not use the Service to:

  • commit, plan, or facilitate fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other unlawful activity;
  • send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or other communications in breach of EU electronic communications and consumer protection laws;
  • distribute malware, ransomware, phishing content, or any other malicious software or links;
  • infringe intellectual property rights — including copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or moral rights — of any third party;
  • harass, threaten, defame, or otherwise harm any person, including recipients of invoices you send;
  • process personal data in violation of the GDPR or other applicable data protection law;
  • violate any sanctions, export control, or trade restriction laws of the EU, Lithuania, or any country where the Service is available.

3. Respect the integrity of the Service

You must not:

  • attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security, integrity, or availability of the Service or any infrastructure that supports it;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written authorisation, except by reporting suspected security issues to [email protected];
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying ideas of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by mandatory law;
  • scrape, mass-download, or systematically extract data from the Service, except via APIs we provide for that purpose;
  • circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other technical or contractual restrictions;
  • create or use multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or to evade enforcement of these rules;
  • resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise access to the Service without our prior written agreement.

4. Be responsible about what you upload

You are responsible for the data you put into the Service. You must have all rights and permissions needed to upload, store, and process that data within the Service. In particular, you must ensure that:

  • you have a lawful basis under the GDPR for processing any personal data of your clients, contacts, or other individuals;
  • your privacy notices to those individuals describe how their data is processed when you use a tool like Invoicing Zone; and
  • you respond to data subject requests addressed to you as controller in accordance with the GDPR.

5. Keep your access secure

Keep your credentials confidential. Do not share your account with people who are not authorised to use it. Use a strong, unique password. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

6. Reporting violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP — for example, an invoice you received from a customer of ours that looks fraudulent, or content that infringes your rights — please contact us at [email protected] with enough detail for us to investigate. We will review reports promptly and confidentially.

7. Consequences of breach

Breaches of this AUP can result in temporary or permanent suspension or termination of your account, removal of offending content, reporting to law enforcement or competent authorities where required, and recovery of any costs caused by the breach. We choose the response that is proportionate to the seriousness of the breach and the risk to other users.
